Islamic Jurisprudence According to the Four Sunni Schools volume 1 Modes of Islamic Worship This i s one o fthe most clear and precise books of contempary Islamic jurisprudence. It teaches all of the aspects and categories of Islamic jurisprudence according to the four sunni schools that are followed by the majority of muslims: the Hanafi, the Maliki,the Shafi, and the Hanbali. It was authored by a commitee of experts who specialized in these four schools under the guidance and supervision of sheikh Abd al-Rahman al-jaziri (1882-1941). Sh. al-Jaziri edited the book so that it would be a comprehensive reference in the hands of the imams who were carrying the burden of da'wa (the propagation of Islam) and givein sermons in the mosquesof Egypt and other Arab and Muslim coutries.
